Installing SSL certificate on a WordPress website – why & how

Just wanted to send a quick note regarding the upcoming Google Chrome change which may affect your website.

In a nutshell, if you have forms, login fields and other input sections on your website, the Chrome browser is going to mark them as not secure starting October 2017.

If you have missed the announcement, you may read all the details here: https://security.googleblog.com/2016/09/moving-towards-more-secure-web.html

The only way to avoiding this issue is to install an SSL certificate on your website.

But installing an SSL certificate is not enough

If you have a WordPress website there are few more steps you need to take before your website is declared secure and have the desired green padlock.

Several clients have contacted us and asked for help with the process, and so I have decided to create a short video that is designed to help you go through the process quickly and easily.

Hope you found it useful.
